Contract Senior Civil Engineer – Drainage & Highways📍Hampshire/Bristol or Cardiff offices - Hybrid 💰 Competitive Hourly Rate (Outside IR35 considered) A busy civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a contract basis. This role will focus primarily on residential and commercial development schemes, with an emphasis on drainage and adoptable highways design. The Role You will be responsible for: * Surface & foul water drainage design * SuDS strategies and detailed design * Flood Risk Assessments * S104 drainage agreements * S38 & S278 highway design and approvals * Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities * Supporting projects from feasibility through to technical approval This is a hands‑on technical role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously and delivering compliant, buildable solutions.
