Our multi-disciplinary and award-winning client is looking for a Principal Civil Engineer who can lead a small team. This opportunity is based in central Leicester and offers some fantastic benefits. The role:
- Day-to-day management of C&S project teams
- Development of programmes and control of change
- Tender preparation for projects of all sizes, including fee estimates
- Carry out technical design reviews / critiques of projects in progress
- Mentor, train and develop junior engineers
- Support individuals to maximise performance
- Ensure team compliance with company management system
- Contribute to wider development of C&S department capabilities
- Lead C&S design delivery across single projects or multiple smaller projects with support from an Associate Engineer or Director, in single- or multi-discipline teams
What you need to succeed:
- Chartered Civil/ Structural Engineer CEng MICE/ MIStructE
- Appropriate depth and breadth of experience including experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong technical knowledge of Civil design
- Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence
