Due to recent project wins an exciting role has arisen for a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer in our clients growing bridge engineering team.
- What you need to succeed
- HND, degree or masters level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Ideally IEng or CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution, e. g. ICE, IStruct E.
- Minimum 10 years bridge engineering experience including recent hands on bridge design.
- Experienced in using MIDAS Bridge software.
- Understanding and experience of Eurocodes and their application to bridge design.
- Experienced in the design of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge structures.
- Good understanding of CDM requirements.
- Ability to work independently to produce high quality solutions for bridge projects, and to be able to apply engineering knowledge and principles to devise innovative solutions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work alongside existing colleagues.
