Are you a Civil Engineer looking to develop your career with a growing multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a wide range of development and infrastructure projects across the UK? We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Civil Engineer to join their Milton Keynes office. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in drainage and infrastructure design who is looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and technically strong environment. The role is predominantly office-based, with occasional site visits as required.

The Role

  • Support the delivery of a variety of civil engineering projects from initial concept through to detailed design and construction.
  • Drainage and infrastructure design for development projects.
  • Production of technical drawings and design packages.
  • Preparation of general arrangement and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Design of highways, drainage and SuDS solutions.
  • Drainage modelling and calculations.
  • Assisting with S104 and S38 approval processes.
  • Liaising with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting site inspections and project delivery activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' UK consultancy experience.
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience undertaking drainage and infrastructure design.
  • Working knowledge of S104, S38 and SuDS design.
  • Experience producing and contributing to technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and WinDes.
  • Knowledge of current UK design standards and regulations.
  • Willingness to attend site visits when required.
  • Full right to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
