As a Water Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to develop innovative and practical engineering solutions.
Key responsibilities- Design and deliver water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Produce technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Undertake drainage and flood risk assessments
- Collaborate with clients, local authorities, and project teams
- Support project delivery, programme management, and technical excellence
- Contribute to sustainable and resilient engineering solutions
- Experience within water engineering, drainage, or civil infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of UK design standards and industry guidance
- Experience using relevant design software and modelling tools
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Working towards or already holding professional accreditation (ICE, CIWEM or similar)
