A well‑established UK engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Contract Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of residential infrastructure projects. This is a hands‑on design role with a strong pipeline of work and flexible hybrid working.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the detailed design and delivery of residential infrastructure schemes, working closely with internal teams, local authorities, and statutory undertakers.

Key responsibilities include

  • Detailed highways and drainage design for residential developments
  • Preparation and submission of Section 38, Section 278 and Section 104 technical approval packages
  • Supporting projects from detailed design through to technical approval
  • Liaison with local authorities, water companies and external stakeholders
  • Providing technical input and oversight where required

About You

  • Proven experience as a Senior Civil / Infrastructure Engineer within a UK consultancy
  • Strong background in residential development design
  • Solid working knowledge of S38, S278 and S104 agreements
  • Able to work autonomously in a contract role
  • Experience using Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage, AutoCAD (or similar)
