We are working in partnership with our client in Manchester who are growing and looking to take on a Contract Civil Engineer, and we’re looking for a talented Contract Civil Engineer to join the team. You’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute to innovative design solutions, and play a key part in shaping the built environment across the region.
Key responsibilities- Produce detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and reports
- Work on drainage, highways, earthworks, and external works design
- Use industry-standard software (e.g., Civil 3D, MicroDrainage)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
- Support junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and best practice
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical skill and a proactive mindset. Ideally, you will have:

- Progress toward chartership (ICE) or already chartered
