We have an opportunity for an Infrastructure Technician with 5+ years’ experience based in Central London. They are experts in the industry with their work spanning the full range of infrastructure types globally, connecting places and improving quality of life. From masterplanning cities to flood risk assessments; from transport interchanges to sustainable urban realms. They currently have a varied workload at all stages for these types of projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Technician who is capable of leading and mentoring a small team across a handful of very exciting UK and global projects.

The role:

Preparation of highway and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards is needed, together with the ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables. Production of designs that can be incorporated to BIM Level 2 status would be beneficial, with the ability to undertake 3D coordination with the design team to ensure that internal project work can be released in IFC or similar format to the required site grid systems. To be able to lead production on projects and train/develop Technicians.

What you need to succeed:

  • A HNC in Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience with an aspiration to gain ICE or CIHT Incorporated status, with internal and external training support provided.
  • PDS line and sign design experience would also be beneficial.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to working within a team structure.
  • Good communication skills across disciplines.
  • Clean driving licence.
  • Candidates should have private sector experience and a working knowledge in the use of Civils3D, AutoCAD, Autotrack and Navisworks.
