With continued growth in their Leeds office, were looking for a talented
Civil Engineer to join their expanding team and contribute to a wide portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector developments.
Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will support the delivery of civil engineering design packages across all stages of a project.
Youll work closely with senior engineers, project managers, and clients to produce practical, cost-effective engineering solutions that meet the highest technical and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare civil engineering designs, including highways, drainage, levels, and external works.
- Produce detailed calculations, technical reports, and design drawings.
- Work with colleagues to deliver coordinated designs across disciplines.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Assist in the management of projects from feasibility through to construction.
- Contribute to quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
About you
Essential
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience within a civil engineering consultancy environment.
- Understanding of design software such as Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, or similar.
- Strong technical knowledge of highways and drainage design.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
Desirable
- Working toward IEng/CEng with ICE.
- Experience in client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems (Su DS) and current UK design standards.
