Our client is hiring for a Senior Civil Engineer to support their Hertfordshire office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a consultancy who are experts in infrastructure planning and design, earthworks and 3D ground modelling, pumping stations, sewerage systems, land drainage, flooding and sustainable drainage systems.

The role:
- To be able to carry out site appraisals, feasibility studies and pre-application advice & have experience in development master planning
- Flood Risk Assessments and SuDs solutions
- To be able to carry out underground services, drainage and external works
- Highways design, Section 38 and Section 278 Agreements
- Sewerage authority liaison, adoption agreements and requisitions
- Able to represent the company at meetings displaying competence and professionalism
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 7 years’ post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy
- An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
- Good experience in earthworks, ground modelling and cut/fill analysis
- Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in FLOW drainage modelling software and Civil 3D
