Are you an Infrastructure Engineer looking to work on some of the UK and Europe’s most technically challenging data centre developments?
We are working with a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to strengthen its infrastructure team with an experienced Civil Engineer. You will work on major data centre projects, delivering civil infrastructure design from concept and planning through to detailed design and construction.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Civil infrastructure design for major data centre developments
- Surface and foul water drainage design
- SuDS and drainage strategies
- External works, levels and earthworks
- Access roads, highways and hardstanding design
- Utility coordination and site-wide infrastructure
- Producing technical reports, calculations and specifications
- Working alongside structural, MEP and multidisciplinary design teams
- Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities and other stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Ideally, you will have:
- A degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or similar
- UK civil infrastructure design experience
- Previous data centre experience would be highly advantageous
- Strong drainage, external works and/or highways experience
- Experience with Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow and AutoCAD
- Experience delivering projects through detailed design
- Good understanding of UK design standards and approval processes
