An opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Structural Engineer to joined a trusted, multi-disciplinary engineering and surveying consultancy with a proud history of delivering intelligent design solutions.

They are currently looking for a driven Graduate Structural Engineer with at least two years of experience to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead.

This is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate your development within a collaborative, forward-thinking consultancy.

You’ll be part of a supportive and experienced structural engineering team, working on a wide variety of projects across residential, educational, commercial, and industrial sectors.

From day one, you’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle—from concept design through to construction—gaining hands‑on experience, client exposure, and structured mentoring as you work towards Chartership.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to create elegant, practical, and sustainable design solutions.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive graduate with a minimum of two years’ industry experience.

  • At least two years’ experience in a UK structural engineering consultancy.
  • Working knowledge of design software such as Tekla, Tedds, and Auto CAD.
  • A good understanding of structural design codes and construction methods.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while contributing to larger project teams.
  • A problem‑solving attitude with attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Desire and commitment to work towards Chartership with ICE or IStruct E.
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
