Youfe responsible for the design of building structures from an early stage, assisting with calculations, drawings and technical reports while working closely with experienced engineers who are committed to training and development.

- What You Need To Succeed
- 1–2 years’ experience working in a UK structural design consultancy.
- A basic understanding of structural design in steel, concrete, masonry and timber.
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design software used in UK practice.
- Ability to assist with structural calculations, drawings and technical reports.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
- A positive, proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing a career in structural engineering.
- A strong academic background with a BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Desire to pursue chartership with the IStruct E or ICE.
