An award-winning civil engineering design consultancy is seeking an experienced Contract Civil Design Engineer to support a strong pipeline of residential and mixed-use infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer who can take schemes from feasibility through to detailed design and technical approvals, working within a high-quality consultancy environment known for design excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver civil infrastructure and drainage design for residential & mixed-use developments
- Design foul and surface water systems using MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage
- Produce highways, levels, earthworks and estate road designs using Civil 3D
- Prepare drawings, calculations and reports for S104, S38 and S278 approvals
- Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers and internal project teams
- Manage workload independently across live schemes
About You
- Strong UK consultancy background in civil engineering design
- Proven experience delivering residential infrastructure & drainage projects
- Confident Civil 3D user with drainage software experience
- Solid understanding of UK design standards and adoption processes
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a contract role
