Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior Engineer for their Leeds office, with experience in the highways and Infrastructure and Drainage. This consultancy delivers projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail etc.
The role:
- Developing highway designs in accordance with the DMRB using AutoCAD or Civils 3D.
- Production of technical reports as required.
- Management of work packages with scope to move up to managing small schemes.
- Client liaison as necessary to deliver the schemes/projects.
- Undertaking services within an engineering environment which may include (but not limited to); scheme investigation, site inspections, data collection and analysis, works/construction inspections and supervision to progress scheme design, development and construction.
What you need to succeed:
- Relevant degree (ideally an accredited Masters Degree with ICE in Civil or equivalent Level 6 qualification).
- Ideally Chartered or Incorporated with relevant professional body or working towards Chartership.
- Ideally a minimum of 4 years post graduate experience.
- Competent in relevant drawing, modelling and experienced in the application of relevant design software.
- Strong technical knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Good commercial awareness and project management skills and experience.
- Manage continuous professional development and stay updated on legislation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
