This is an excellent opportunity to join an established residential developer with an in-house technical team, where you'll play a key role in the design and delivery of infrastructure for new housing schemes.

The role
As a Civil Engineer, you'll become part of an experienced in-house technical team responsible for delivering civil engineering designs across a range of residential developments.
Key responsibilities include
- Producing detailed civil engineering designs for residential developments
- Designing highways, drainage, infrastructure, foundations and external works
- Supporting projects through the full technical design process, from concept through to construction
- Collaborating with internal departments and external consultants to ensure designs meet programme and quality requirements
- Contributing technical expertise and innovative solutions throughout project delivery
- Supporting continuous improvement and best practice across the technical team
- What you need to succeed
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Previous experience as a Civil Engineer within either a consultancy or an in-house design team for a residential developer
- Experience designing infrastructure, highways, drainage, foundations and external works for housing developments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, PDS and FLOW (or similar design software)
- Ideally Chartered (MICE) or Incorporated, although support will be provided for candidates working towards professional accreditation
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- A proactive approach with a genuine desire to develop your career within residential development
