We have an opening for a Civil Engineer with expertise in SuDs to join our client's busy and expanding Hertfordshire office on a full-time hybrid basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3+ years’ experience working on new developments, with involvement from planning stage through to detailed and construction drawings. You’ll be working on a variety of interesting projects, contributing to sustainable drainage and infrastructure solutions from concept to delivery.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-reputed consultancy who pride themselves on providing Flood Risk Assessments to inform feasibility studies, master-planning and support planning applications. They specialise in highway access and design, transport planning including undertaking transport assessments and travel plans. Their civil engineering solutions include S278, S38 and S106 negotiations. Flood risk and drainage services include sustainable drainage design, flood risk assessments, and hydraulic modelling.

What you need to succeed:

  • To be degree qualified in a relevant subject
  • To have a minimum of 3+ years post-graduate experience in a consultancy
  • Experience in SuDS and civil engineering design for new developments
  • Competent in AutoCAD, Causeway Flow and Civils 3D
  • Involvement across planning, detailed design and construction stage
  • A proactive team player who enjoys collaborating with others
