In this role you will lead project teams within a growing London office of a national engineering business. You’ll shape delivery across education, residential, industrial, government, leisure and commercial sectors, with a mix of new-build and refurbishment work. You’ll mentor engineers, manage client relationships, and drive innovative structural design while supporting office growth. Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery for multiple schemes and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor junior engineers and develop internal capability
- Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships
- Drive innovative design solutions and contribute to London office growth
- Oversee complex/ refurbishment projects and ensure quality delivery
- Support chartership and professional development activities
Key requirements
- Proven structural engineering design experience across multiple sectors
- Strong technical capability in steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
- Experience leading projects and managing multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Tekla, Tedds, ETABS, Robot or similar software
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commercial awareness and proactive project delivery
- Chartered Engineer status with IStructE/ICE, or close to achieving it
- BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
