b Overview /b p As Associate Director, you will lead a growing Water Flood Risk team in London, delivering flood risk, drainage and water management solutions on diverse development projects. You will shape the discipline alongside senior leadership, drive business growth, and mentor engineers while providing expert client guidance. You will manage projects, oversee technical outputs, and support planning appeals and expert witness activities. This is a strategic leadership role at a respected consultancy with a strong impact on UK water risk delivery. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Performance-related bonus /li li Hybrid and flexible working arrangements /li li Enhanced pension contribution /li li Buy and sell holiday scheme /li li Professional membership fees paid /li li EV salary sacrifice scheme /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead and grow the Water Flood Risk team in London /li li Oversee delivery of multiple projects across sectors /li li Provide technical leadership in flood risk, drainage and hydraulic modelling /li li Act as Project Manager to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery /li li Build and maintain client relationships /li li Support planning appeals, public inquiries and expert witness activities /li li Review technical outputs to maintain high quality standards /li li Drive business development, tender submissions and client growth opportunities /li li Mentor and develop engineers and consultants /li li Contribute to strategic planning and operational management of the discipline /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 10+ years consultancy experience in flood risk and drainage /li li Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or related discipline /li li Strong knowledge of UK planning policy, flood risk legislation and drainage design /li li Experience delivering Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and hydraulic modelling /li li Proven success obtaining approvals from Local Planning Authorities, LLFAs and Environment Agency /li li Strong commercial awareness and project management experience /li li Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills /li li Full UK driving licence /li /ul ul li leadership and people management /li li stakeholder management /li li strong communication /li li flood risk /li li drainage设计 /li li hydraulic modelling /li /ul
