We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our client as an Associate Director to lead their Building Structures team in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to drive the growth and success of their structural engineering division. As Associate Director, you will play a key role in strategic planning, project delivery, team leadership, and client engagement.

As Associate Director you will be leading a team delivering a range of projects including data centres, museums, energy storage and education with current project values up to Β£150m.

  • Lead and manage the Building Structures Team, ensuring high standards of technical excellence and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the growth and success of the Structural Engineering division.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive innovation and integrated project solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Chartered with IStructE or ICE.
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
