We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy, looking to appoint a Structural Technician to their office in central Bristol. Delivering innovative and practical design solutions across a wide range of sectors including residential, education, sports, industrial, commercial, energy, and leisure, they are looking for a talented Structural Technician to support their continued expansion.
This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of a close-knit, collaborative team working on technically diverse projects. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technicians in an open, supportive environment where creativity and technical excellence are encouraged. You’ll contribute to the delivery of Revit and AutoCAD drawings for a variety of new builds, refurbishments, and complex structural alterations.
We’re looking for someone with a solid grounding in structural drafting and modelling, who thrives in a dynamic, design-led setting. Proficiency in both Revit and AutoCAD is essential, and experience across multiple sectors will be highly advantageous. What You Need To Succeed
- Up to two years’ experience as a Structural Technician within a UK consultancy.
- Proficient use of both Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience producing structural general arrangements, sections, and details.
- Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing workloads to meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent).
