We are looking for a Senior Transport Planner who is passionate about creating sustainable and successful developments to join our clients Hampshire based team.
The ideal candidate will be involved in supporting all aspects of development planning project work through the whole development cycle from site selection/due diligence and appraisal, through planning, design and implementation.
You will work on a number of exciting, complex transport planning projects, with the support of the Directors and Transport team, and gain valuable experience and exposure across a range of sectors and a variety of clients on all scales/types of projects.

The role
- You will be preparing Access Strategies, Transport Assessments/Statements, Travel Plans, Construction Traffic Management Plans, Parking Strategies, Sustainable transport / Active Travel, and inputs to Environmental Impact Assessment.
- You will be required to undertake junction modelling (Junctions 10 (Arcady, Picady) and LinSig), input to S106 negotiations, liaise with local highway authorities and much more.
What you need to succeed
- A degree in a related subject (a master’s degree in transport would be desirable)
- Policy and guidance such as NPPF, DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20 etc.
- Experience in the use of the TRICS database.
- Experience in setting up and running of junction modelling software, including Junctions 10; and
- To be able to collaborate with clients, project teams, highways officers and community members are at the core of our approach and candidates should have good written and verbal communication skills.
