They care about the environment and are committed to creating a sustainable society.What\’s on offer: Company car or cash allowanceUp to 6% matched contributory pension planLife assurance scheme25 days annual leave plus ability to buy additional leaveDiscount scheme (including gym membership, mobile phones etc)Flexible workingFamily friendly policiesEmployee assistanceProfessional developmentThe role: Management, leadership, support and coaching of a team ranging from apprentices to experienced civil engineersLiaising with clients for project delivery, relationship and new business developmentDesign of drainage, service, road infrastructure and earthworks on a broad range of projects that include industrial, commercial, residential, retail, health and leisure developments.Preparation of associated drawings from concept stage through to construction.Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Statements and Service Strategy Reports as well as design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems from concept stage through to implementation.Design and detailing of works associated with highway (s.278, s.38, etc.) and drainage agreements (s.104, s.185, etc) as well as other relevant consents / permits and negotiation of technical approvals.Site audits and feasibility assessments.What you need to succeed: Relevant Degree and Chartered CIHT, ICE, IHE etc or working towards chartershipExtensive experience of Autodesk Civil 3D, Microdrainage and AutoCADA thorough understanding of earthworks design, below ground foul and surface water drainage design, pavement design, external works and 3D underground services co-ordination is required.You will have experience working in a multi-disciplinary team where you are able to take initiative and work independently,You will be keen to mentor graduate and junior engineers / technicians in both technical design aspects and BIM software integrationFull UK drivers licence
