The role:
- Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes at every stage.
- Deliver schemes across industrial, residential, retail, commercial, and healthcare sectors, meeting Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary teams to develop coordinated design solutions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the company’s reputation for reliability and excellence.
- Undertake structural inspections and assessments of new and existing properties, applying expertise in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
- Carry out structural analysis and design using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds), producing accurate technical outputs, drawings, and reports.
- Prepare clear, professional documentation including structural survey reports and design deliverables.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, encouraging development and contributing to team growth.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Proven ability to manage projects independently from concept through to delivery.
- Strong technical expertise in both new-build and refurbishment structures.
- Experience working with a range of materials including steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
