Are you an experienced Civil Engineer looking for that next step — where your work actually shapes new communities across the South? We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join our growing Technical Team in Reading, leading the engineering design and delivery of high-quality residential developments.
What You’ll Do
- You’ll take projects from the drawing board to the finished site, coordinating everything from early design to technical approvals and on-site solutions.
- Managing the design of roads, drainage, and infrastructure for new housing sites.
- Securing technical approvals (Section 38, 104, 278, etc.).
- Liaising with consultants, authorities, and internal teams.
- Providing clear technical guidance during construction.
- Ensuring cost-effective, compliant, and sustainable designs.
About You
You’re a confident engineer who enjoys solving problems and working collaboratively to get things built right the first time. You’ll bring:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (or similar).
- Chartered status (ICE) or working towards it.
- Proven experience in residential infrastructure design.
- Strong knowledge of adoption procedures and technical approvals.
- Skills in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage (or similar).
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and great communication skills.
