As their Senior Development Engineer, you will provide lean but robust engineering strategies as part of an established, successful land and development team. The role will be working primarily with the land team to de-risk bids and support the due diligence process for land acquisition approval. This would include technical reporting and providing strategies for drainage.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the housebuilding industry, work in a straightforward way, possess strong organisational skills with good commercial and contractual awareness, and be creative with a keen eye for detail and ability to process technical information. They will be collaborative, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong negotiator with proven experience in gaining consent on complex technical approvals.
The successful candidate will have previous exposure to a similar role within a UK housebuilder and be comfortable using engineering related software. Experience of technical and engineering aspects of house building design and an in-depth understanding of Highway.
