We have an opening for a Civil Engineer to join our clients busy Exeter office. This is an ideal opportunity for an Engineer with 2+ years industry experience across the infrastructure drainage sector. You will be guaranteed an opportunity to get involved in all aspects of infrastructure planning and design work with both internal and external training and mentoring provided as required. You can expect to be working on several projects at any given time for multiple clients, offering great variety.

What you need to succeed:
- You must have a degree in Civil Engineering
- Aware of the application of industry design standards and best practice (e.g. Manual for Streets, DMRB, LTN 1/20)
- Proficient in AutoCAD, with a great eye for detail and quality
- Experience in providing engineering input to development masterplans, analysis of site levels, and preparing preliminary highway/drainage scheme drawings for planning applications
- Prior working knowledge of the detailed design and S38/S278 approvals process
- Competent in using Site 3D and FLOW software
- Good communication skills and ability to demonstrate effective teamwork
