This well-known multi-disciplinary design consultancy are looking to appoint a Contract Civil Engineer to support a growing workload across planning-led infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Engineer seeking flexible, remote contract work, with the opportunity to increase hours as workload ramps up.
The Role
- Supporting planning applications across a range of schemes, with work predominantly focused on:
- Production of Drainage Strategies
- Preparation of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
- Planning support for small to medium residential developments
- Commercial developments and solar farm projects
- Occasional input into larger S278 highway schemes
About You
- Strong background in UK civil engineering consultancy
- Proven experience producing Drainage Strategies and FRAs
- Proficient in:
- AutoCAD
- Causeway Flow
- PDS
Working Arrangement
- Remote working supported
- Part-time hours initially, with clear potential to move to full-time
- Flexible approach to working patterns
