Our client has an opening for a CAD Technician to join their Hertfordshire based team. You’ll be joining a talented team to deliver unique and sustainable outcomes to complex infrastructure projects, seamlessly merging economic, environmental and societal needs for the future.

This consultancy has a fantastic reputation for overcoming challenges and seeing what isn’t always obvious, runs across every discipline. You can expect to work on the most vital public and private sectors of society including transport, energy, industry and education.

Their team of engineers and technicians develop the solutions together; you will build on your knowledge to become a skilled member of the team, producing quality drawings and models using a variety of software including AutoCAD & Microstation.

What you need to succeed

  • Typically, 4 or more years’ experience in the UK engineering sector
  • Proficient in the use of CAD Software –AutoCAD and Microstation
  • Ability to produce accurate and appropriate engineering drawings and models in an efficient and effective manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Minimum HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
  • Ideally to have experience in the use of any of the following Open Buildings Designer, Revit or Civil 3D
  • ProjectWise or other Common Data Environments
  • EngTech or professional recognition with another institution.
