As a Civil Technician at our trusted client, you’ll play a key role in supporting their transport planning and engineering projects. You’ll work closely with engineers and planners to deliver high‑quality technical outputs that help shape future infrastructure.
Your work will contribute to a wide range of projects, including:
- Transport assessments and statements
- Junction and highway design
- Active travel schemes
- Development planning and infrastructure improvements
- Traffic modelling support and data analysis
Responsibilities
- Produce high‑quality CAD drawings, plans, and technical designs
- Assist in preparing transport planning reports and supporting documents
- Undertake site visits, surveys, and data collection
- Support the design of highways, junction layouts, and sustainable transport infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and external stakeholders
- Ensure all work meets relevant standards, guidance, and best practice
About you
We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, accuracy, and a willingness to learn. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience as a Civil Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a bonus)
