Role
They are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join their expanding team. In this role, you will contribute to geotechnical investigations, analyses and designs for a wide variety of civil engineering and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, practical and cost-effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical site investigations, including planning, supervision, and logging.
- Perform geotechnical analyses (bearing capacity, settlement, slope stability, earthworks, ground improvement, etc.).
- Prepare high‑quality technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Support the design of foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, and ground remediation solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practice.
- Contribute to risk assessments, method statements, and construction support activities.
About you
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in geotechnical site investigations and interpretation of ground conditions.
- Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio, WALLAP, SLOPE/W, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Chartered or working toward Chartership (CEng, MICE, or similar) is desirable.
