We are seeking an ambitious Structural Engineer to join the Building Structures team of our client in in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a growing company with an excellent reputation in South Wales. As a Structural Engineer, you will work within a talented and collaborative team of engineers and technicians, playing a key role in delivering high-quality design solutions. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept design through to construction, working on a variety of challenging projects that make a real impact on the built environment. We are looking for an engineer who has a strong technical background, with experience in the design of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. What You Need To Succeed * Proven experience in structural design, with knowledge of steel, concrete, timber, and masonry structures. * Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Tekla, Tedds, or similar. * Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, Design Standards, Codes of Practice and Health & Safety regulations. * Experience working on building projects from concept through to completion. * Ability to produce detailed calculations, technical drawings, and reports. * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and with clients. * Commitment to high-quality design and continuous professional development. * Chartered (or working towards) with IStructE or ICE. * MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
