We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients growing UK team. This is an opportunity to join a SME design consultancy in supporting their projects which include urban regeneration, transport, energy, waste, industrial, commercial, residential, retail, health and leisure developments. They have expertise in infrastructure planning and design, earthworks and 3D ground modelling, pumping stations, sewerage systems, land drainage, flooding and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
You will take the lead on project delivery, manage junior engineers, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure that all designs and construction activities meet the highest technical and regulatory standards.

What you need to succeed:
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy
- You must have experience in the production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments.
- Desirable drainage remedial and modelling experience
- Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction
- Highways design experience – local authority and private residential / commercial (S38 / 184 / 278)
- An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports
- Able to represent the company at meetings displaying competence and professionalism.
- Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
