Senior Civil Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our clients London studio. This is an exciting position to join an award-winning multidisciplinary engineering practice that prides itself on its close collaboration.\\n\\nAs a senior member of the team, you will have the experience and confidence to manage the day-to-day technical delivery of projects, from early concept through to construction. \\n\\nYou’ll be reporting to an Associate or Associate Director, you will be responsible for producing and reviewing design work, coordinating with architects and other consultants, mentoring junior engineers, and helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and to the highest standards.\\n\\nWhat’s on offer\\n\\nHybrid / Flexi working\\n\\t\\nIncreased annual leave allowance for long service\\n\\t\\nDay off on your birthday\\n\\t\\nPaid half day per year for volunteering\\n\\t\\nReimbursement of professional membership fees\\n\\t\\nBonus Scheme\\n\\t\\nEnhanced maternity and shared parental leave\\n\\nThe role\\n\\nLead the day-to-day technical delivery of civil engineering projects\\n\\t\\nAct as project lead, design manager or discipline lead, as required\\n\\t\\nPrepare and oversee the production of calculations, drawings, specifications and reports\\n\\t\\nCoordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and fellow consultants throughout the design and construction process\\n\\t\\nAttend design meetings, site inspections and construction progress reviews\\n\\t\\nMonitor project budgets and programmes, identifying risks and resourcing needs\\n\\t\\nInput into team resourcing and project programming in weekly team meetings\\n\\nWhat you need to succeed\\n\\nYou’ll need 5+ years UK post-graduate experience in civil engineering design, with a strong understanding of UK codes, procurement processes, and construction methods.
