An established and growing structural engineering consultancy in Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 years' industry experience to join its close-knit and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to build on their early career experience, gain exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects, and work alongside experienced engineers who are committed to professional development. You'll be involved in projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and education sectors, supporting the design and delivery of structural solutions from concept through to completion. Responsibilities Assist with the design of structural projects using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. Produce structural calculations, reports, and technical drawings. Support senior engineers in the delivery of projects from inception to completion. Attend site visits and carry out structural inspections when required. Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to design meetings and technical discussions. Work towards achieving chartership with ICE or IStructE. Requirements Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. Approximately 2 years of experience within a UK consultancy environment. Working knowledge of structural design principles and relevant British Standards/Eurocodes. Experience using design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, MasterSeries, or similar. Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit would be advantageous. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning. Full UK driving licence preferred.
