This consultancy are keen to progress their Engineers and give them the best environment to develop and grow in their careers. \\n\\nWhat’s on offer:\\n\\nBonus scheme\\n\\t\\nHolidays\\n\\t\\nFlexible pay scheme – you have the option to buy extra benefits \\n\\t\\nIncome protection scheme\\n\\t\\nElectric vehicle scheme\\n\\t\\nFlexible/hybrid working \\n\\t\\nProfessional membership – this consultancy fund 2 professional memberships per year \\n\\t\\nEmployee Assistance Program\\n\\t\\nDeath in service scheme\\n\\nThe role:\\n\\nUndertake appropriate analysis and prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports with little supervision from a Senior Engineer and in a form that can readily be checked by another member of staff.\\n\\t\\nSupport Senior Engineers in project design from commencement to completion.\\n\\t\\nInfluence development and infrastructure master-planning using knowledge of Highways Act 1980, Water industry Act 2004, Land Drainage Act, New Roads and Street Works Act, and other Statutory Instruments etc. as required.\\n\\t\\nProduce high-quality designs for feasibility, costing and construction purposes, highways & drainage, street works, public works, SUDS, building drainage, utilities coordination/diversion as services if and when required by our clients.\\n\\t\\nUndertake the co-ordination of thorough site investigations, complete inspections, and identify and resolve any issues as appropriate.\\n\\t\\nUndertake accurate and timely assessments of variations and appraisal of fee cost and/or timescale impacts, and agreement with client/customer organisations.\\n\\t\\nManage engineering teams to ensure utilisation and recovery targets are monitored and achieved.\\n\\t\\nOffer leadership, mentoring, encouragement, and motivation to junior engineers.\\n\\t\\nEnforce financial control of projects when acting as a Project Manager.\\n\\t\\nCommunicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and other construction professionals regarding projects.\\n\\t\\nRepresent the company at design team meetings with clients and other construction professionals.\\n\\t\\nIf not already Chartered, work towards your Chartership with the support of your mentor and colleagues in a regular and systematic manner.\\n\\t\\nKeep your professional development up-to-date with IPD/CPD expectations and/or Membership requirements of the ICE.\\n\\nWhat you need to succeed:\\n\\nUse AutoCAD 2D Drafting, PDS Site Developer / Civil 3D, Flow / Micro-drainage or similar hydraulic design software, TEDDS, and other industry-recognised software.\\n\\t\\nBEng/MEng or equivalent degree from a JBM-accredited course in Civil Engineering or associated subject.\\n\\t\\nIf not already Chartered, near Chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers
