What you need to succeed MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering A commitment to the pursuit of becoming a chartered professional and continuous professional development (CPD). Experience in the use of hydraulic modelling software, such as MicroDrainage. Experience in residential road and levels design. Experience in the regulatory approvals process for drainage and highways. For example, Section 106 and Section 278 type applications. Possess a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Strong numerical, analysis and design skills. Planned and organised in your approach to work and meeting deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team. Previous post graduate experience would be an advantage, but not essential. A full driver’s licence would be an advantage. A well-mannered and professional individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
