The Opportunity
We are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering consultancy in Manchester who are looking to appoint a talented Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team. Role
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design of highways, drainage, and infrastructure projects
- Production of engineering drawings and technical reports
- Preparation of flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
- Liaison with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
- Support project delivery to agreed deadlines and budgets
- Undertake site visits as required
Requirements
We are interested in candidates who have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in infrastructure design within a consultancy environment
- Knowledge of UK design standards and regulations
- Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, or similar
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Progression towards Chartership (ICE) is desirable
