A busy civil engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Civil Engineer on a part-time contract basis (circa 20 hours per week). This role will focus primarily on residential and commercial development schemes, with an emphasis on drainage and adoptable highways design.
The Role
- Surface & foul water drainage design
- SuDS strategies and detailed design
- Flood Risk Assessments
- S104 drainage agreements
- S38 & S278 highway design and approvals
- Liaison with LLFAs, Environment Agency and Water Authorities
- Supporting projects from feasibility through to technical approval
This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone comfortable working autonomously and delivering compliant, buildable solutions.

- Strong experience in UK residential and/or commercial development
- Proven track record securing S104, S38 and S278 approvals
