We’re hiring for a Civil Engineer with 4+ years’ experience to join one of the UK’s leading multidiscipline design consultancies. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Engineer who would like to be involved in a variety of Civil Infrastructure projects and support the design / delivery of some of the current UK projects.

You’ll be joining a reputable design consultancy who want you to be the best you can be and will fully support you in achieving your Chartership status. They will provide training and development plans and continue to invest in you throughout your career with them.

The role:

  • Support the design and delivery of civil engineering projects including residential, commercial and retail structures, complex infrastructure like data centres and anaerobic digestion plants, as well as essential infrastructure like roads, bridges, drainage, and water supply
  • Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, technical reports, and specifications
  • Learn to use industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PDS and Causeway Flow
  • Undertake site visits and surveys with senior engineers
  • Work alongside planners, other engineers, and architects on multidisciplinary projects
  • Receive mentoring and training towards chartership and career progression

What you need to succeed:

  • A degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Soil Mechanics, Engineering Geology or a related discipline
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; any exposure to design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Causeway Flow) is a plus but not essential
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
