Associate Civil Engineer – Development Infrastructure 🚨 📍 London (Hybrid Working) 💰 £66,000 – £80,000 + Bonus + Package I’m currently working on an excellent opportunity for an Associate Civil Engineer to join a highly regarded, design-led engineering consultancy in London. This is a key senior hire within a growing Development Infrastructure team, offering real influence over technical delivery, team leadership, and business growth. 🔧 The Role You’ll be leading projects across the full lifecycle, from early-stage feasibility and planning through to detailed design and delivery. This role is particularly suited to an engineer with strong building drainage and infrastructure experience, looking to step into (or continue in) a leadership position. ✅ Key Experience Required 10+ years’ experience in civil/infrastructure engineering Strong background in roads, drainage, earthworks & utilities Proven experience delivering residential and mixed-use developments Drainage strategy & detailed design, including SuDS Experience with foul & surface water attenuation Familiar with approvals such as S38, S278 & S104 Proficient in MicroDrainage (or similar software) 👥 Key Responsibilities Lead and manage projects from concept through to delivery Oversee technical quality and financial performance Support and develop junior engineers and technicians Work closely with clients, architects and stakeholders Contribute to team growth, strategy and business development Provide technical guidance and share best practice internally 🌍 The Opportunity Join a forward-thinking, collaborative consultancy Work on high-profile projects across residential, regeneration, education, and mixed-use sectors Genuine opportunity to influence team direction and project delivery Clear progression pathway with support toward (or beyond) Chartership
