At Strangford Management, we believe block management should be personal, proactive, and progressive. That’s why we’ve built a unique 'pod structure': every portfolio is cared for by a dedicated team of three: a Property Manager, a Client Accountant, and you. We’re now looking for a Junior Property Manager to join our growing team. This isn’t a back-office role; from day one, you’ll be client-facing, working alongside your pod to deliver exceptional service to residents and directors while learning the ropes of professional property management.
What you’ll be doing?
- Coordinating reactive repairs, insurance claims, and maintenance contracts.
- Supporting compliance, financial processes, and portfolio administration.
- Building relationships with residents and directors, becoming a trusted point of contact.
- Working closely with your pod to ensure smooth, proactive management of your developments.
What we’re looking for
- Organised, proactive, and confident, with the personality to shine in front of clients.
- Hands-on property management exposure: you’ve already handled resident queries, raised works orders, and managed contractors, ideally for 1-2 years.
- Comfortable with systems and software: you should be confident navigating tech to keep portfolios organised.
- Strong written and verbal communication: from clear client emails to drafting formal letters.
- Customer-service instinct: you anticipate issues before they escalate and bring a problem-solving approach.
- Time management and multitasking ability: juggling repairs, insurance, budgets, and emails without losing track.
- Team player: thrives in a close-knit unit, balancing independence with accountability.
- Ambition with patience: hungry to become a Property Manager, but also willing to learn, listen, and develop within the pod structure.
Why Strangford Management?
- A clear pathway: this role is designed to help you become a Property Manager, with structured support and progression built in.
- A client-facing environment where you’ll learn fast and make a real impact.
- A supportive pod team, ensuring you always have guidance from your Property Manager and Client Accountant.
- A culture where your contribution matters, and your career is taken seriously.
