SWRP are recruiting for a Legal Secretary within Litigation on behalf of a professional, fast growing business based in the heart of Spalding, Lincolnshire.
The Role
You’ll provide high‑quality secretarial and administrative support within a busy Litigation team, working closely with Solicitors and fee earners in a fast‑paced legal environment. This is a varied role where you’ll support across a range of litigation matters — so you’ll need to be highly organised, adaptable, and confident working with different personalities and priorities. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on being kept busy, and can work efficiently in a professional, deadline‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to Solicitors and fee earners within the Litigation team
- Prepare and format legal documents, correspondence, and court bundles
- Manage and maintain client files, both electronically and in hard copy
- Coordinate diaries, appointments, court dates, and meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications (email, post, and telephone)
- Assist with document production, formatting, and version control
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner
- Support with case administration and general office tasks
About You
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Litigation
- Strong audio typing and document production skills with a high level of accuracy
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a professional, client‑focused approach
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Comfortable working as part of a team and supporting multiple fee earners
