SWRP are recruiting on behalf of a growing and evolving business for a PA / Executive Assistant to support the Group Managing Director, based in Spalding, Lincolnshire.

The Role

You'll provide high-level, day-to-day support to a busy Group Managing Director during an exciting period of change and growth. With ambitious plans over the next five years, this role is key in ensuring the MD's time is effectively managed and focused on the areas that matter most. This is a fast-paced and highly varied position, requiring a confident and organised individual who can act as a gatekeeper, build strong relationships across the business, and operate with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the MD's diary and inbox, ensuring priorities are aligned and time is used effectively
  • Act as a gatekeeper, managing interruptions and ensuring focus on key business priorities
  • Prepare agendas, briefing notes, and meeting materials in advance of key meetings
  • Attend meetings where required, taking accurate minutes and ensuring clear follow-up of actions
  • Draft letters, correspondence, reports, and internal communications on behalf of the MD
  • Build strong working relationships across the business and with external stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality documents and PowerPoint presentations for board and business use
  • Support business projects by tracking progress, timelines, and key deliverables
  • Coordinate national travel, accommodation, events, and off-site meetings
  • Maintain organised filing systems with strong version control and document accuracy
  • Provide general administrative support, including expenses, purchase orders, and approvals
  • Assist with wider business operations and occasional recruitment or HR-related tasks
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement
