SWRP are recruiting an Internal Sales Executive to join a growing business in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. You will be responsible for developing new business, managing a sales pipeline, and building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound sales activity
- Develop and manage relationships with existing, lapsed, and prospective customers
- Maximise sales opportunities by upselling and expanding customer orders
- Conduct market research to identify target customers and uncover new opportunities
- Generate, manage, and follow up on customer quotations
- Maintain a structured and active sales pipeline to support business growth
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing ongoing account support
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1–2 years’ sales experience either within an office or retail environment
- Good understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within the building, trades, or construction sector is advantageous
