About the Company

I’m currently partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed organisation in the real estate sector to appoint a Financial Controller.

About the Role

This is a newly created position driven by the continued expansion of the finance function. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and investors, alongside the opportunity to shape and enhance reporting, controls, and processes within a scaling business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of end-to-end statutory accounts production
  • Leading quarterly consolidation and intercompany alignment processes
  • Preparing and reviewing technical accounting papers (leases, revenue recognition, impairments, etc.)
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and advisors
  • Strengthening audit readiness, internal controls, and documentation standards
  • Driving automation initiatives and continuous process improvements
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders on treasury matters (cash flow, liquidity, funding)

Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE

Required Skills

  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS and/or FRS 101
  • Background in audit (Top 10 preferred) and/or industry financial reporting roles
  • Proven experience operating in multi-entity environments with consolidations
  • Demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Systems experience (e.g. OneSource, SAP, advanced Excel) advantageous
