A leading, private equity backed, developer and operator of hyperscale, energy efficient data centres across the UK and Europe. With investment from leading institutional shareholders, the business is undergoing significant growth across its core markets with high volumes of capital deployment and transaction activity.

About the Role:

This is a mission critical, hands‑on role supporting strategic decision‑making and investment activity across a rapidly scaling, capital‑intensive business.

The Senior Associate will work closely with the Senior Management Team in supporting investor engagement, managing relationships with funding partners and contributing to the preparation of investment materials as the business continues to execute on a multi‑billion‑pound growth strategy.

You will produce accurate, comprehensive, and timely materials for senior leadership and board review, coordinating inputs, developing high‑quality investment reporting, and ensuring clarity and consistency across key financial communications.

This role suits a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident working with both complex financial data and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support financial modelling, returns analysis, and capital structuring for new and existing projects, site acquisitions, and investment decisions.
• Conduct detailed market and industry research to inform assumptions, model drivers, and strategic context.
• Prepare high-quality pitch books and presentations for a variety of capital‑raising activities, including equity and debt solutions.
• Coordinate buy-side and sell-side due diligence processes, supporting the review of associated legal and financial documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external investors, communicating insights and recommendations clearly and professionally.
• Work closely with development, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment between investment materials and capital requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in investment analysis, board reporting, investor relations, or a similar role.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams and deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with a proactive and structured approach.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Skilled at building and maintaining effective relationships with both internal teams and external investors.
• Experience within a publicly listed, regulated, or governance‑focused environment is advantageous.
• Comfortable working under pressure and delivering high‑quality work to tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset, strong accountability, and a positive, collaborative attitude.
