An internationally renowned real estate investment manager is seeking a Fund Accountant to join their Fund Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified accountant to become part of a fast-paced, collaborative team, with strong career progression prospects.

Working under the guidance of the Fund Controllers, you’ll be involved in both statutory and investor reporting, while also gaining exposure to core areas such as fund operations, financial accounting, and transaction-related work. This is a wide-ranging, commercially focused position that offers regular interaction with key stakeholders, including portfolio managers, tax professionals, client service teams, and external audit partners.

Key Duties
  • Support statutory reporting processes, including drafting financial statements, preparing audit files, and applying IFRS standards.
  • Assist with quarterly investor reporting, including NAV preparation and associated financial analysis.
  • Oversee cash and banking activities, including payment processing and treasury monitoring.
  • Contribute to transaction execution by performing financial due diligence and preparing documentation for investment committees.
  • Support tax compliance and governance matters across the fund structure.
  • Handle investor enquiries and collaborate with internal teams across the business.
  • Manage your workload proactively, with the ambition to progress into a Fund Finance Manager position.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Educated to degree level, with strong academics.
  • Good grasp of IFRS; knowledge of local GAAP is a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and general MS Office tools.
  • Familiarity with VAT and corporate tax compliance is an advantage.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, driven, and a strong team contributor.
