As a Group Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting across various European entities. You will collaborate closely with teams in Europe, the US, and India, and will be involved in a mix of technical accounting, reporting oversight, audit management, tax support, and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting under US GAAP and UK GAAP for UK and European entities.
- Act as a key point of contact for issue resolution across global business and support teams.
- Prepare and review ad-hoc journal entries and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements, including board reporting materials.
- Oversee indirect tax compliance, including VAT reporting and reconciliation.
- Support direct tax compliance and transfer pricing by providing financial information and addressing queries.
- Manage and coordinate statutory financial and tax audits.
- Participate in regional and global projects aimed at enhancing controls, processes, and systems.
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Treasury, and wider finance teams across multiple offices globally.
- Recommend improvements to streamline financial processes.
- Support consolidation and structuring activities following acquisition transactions across Europe.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
- Background in both public practice and private industry preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and relevant financial regulations.
- Knowledge of IFRS and other European reporting frameworks is a plus.
- Experience within financial services or asset management is preferred.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work across multiple teams and jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with regional financial regulatory requirements.
- Preferred system experience: Fusion, Oracle, OneStream.
- Experience with Power BI or other BI tools is advantageous.
