A leading global investment management business is seeking a motivated and detail‑driven Management Accountant to join its central finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or part‑qualified accountant to work within a high‑performing Finance function supporting over 90 corporate entities across multiple jurisdictions. About the Role
Working within the Finance team, the Management Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to senior management and global stakeholders. This varied role blends IFRS and local GAAP knowledge with hands‑on financial management and business partnering responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in producing consolidated Group reports including monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long‑term plans.
- Prepare variance analysis and commentary for senior stakeholders.
- Support AUM reporting processes, model management, and master data maintenance.
- Contribute to quarterly CFO presentations for global committees.
- Provide support to regional subsidiaries on IFRS, reporting, forecasting, and systems (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan).
- Support coordination of Group statutory audits and local subsidiary audits.
- Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely delivery of audit requirements.
- Assist with ongoing treasury activities, ensuring efficient cash management across the Group.
- Prepare mid‑month and month‑end cash reports and bank reconciliations.
- Support dividends and intercompany cash flows across global entities.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc regulatory reports.
- Coordinate annual tax reporting obligations, including CBCR filings.
- Support implementation and monitoring of Group transfer pricing policies.
- Lead or support ad‑hoc finance projects, including M&A‑related tasks.
- Promote consistency in financial processes and adherence to Group policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across reporting systems and models.
Training & Development
Opportunities to become proficient in Hyperion, Anaplan, and other Group systems. Exposure to a broad range of senior stakeholders and global finance teams.
Skills
- Qualified or part‑qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Educated to degree level with a strong passion for accounting and financial analysis.
- Experienced within an accounting function—experience in investment management or financial services is beneficial.
- Highly proficient in Excel with strong skills across Microsoft Office; experience with Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
- Analytical, organised, and able to meet tight deadlines.
